Eric, Born in 1966 is originally from Neeses, South Carolina, now lives in Marengo,Ohio with his wife Tara and two sons Greg and Robert. Eric & Tara own an electrical contracting business specializing in high end residential electric.

Eric has been involved in mudracing since 1989.  He started out in a modified car, racing locally in Ohio. He took a break from mud racing for a few years to race dirt bikes. Eric raced hare scrambles and enduros. In 1997 after winning the District 11 Vet B Enduro championship, Eric & Tara decided to get into muscle cars. Eric restored several 1965 to 1969 Chevelles then he decided to try drag racing. Drag racing didn’t last long as it didn’t hold Eric’s interest much, and that’s how he got back into mudracing. Eric always enjoyed the friendship & camaraderie in mud racing and in 2004 bought an alcohol injected 48 Fiat and raced it through the 2005 season before moving up to a Open/Blower car.

It was a tough first year in the open class, but with some help from friends and fellow racers Eric who enjoys wrenching on his car, has progressed and been able to move up and run with the best. “Politically Incorrect” is a Fastlane 23 altered, powered by a 572 Big Chief Headed Keith Black Olds, 1471 SSI. One of his memorable accomplishments was Lima 2007, where he broke the NMRO 160ft record with a 2.14 and held it for a whole 10 minutes when his good friend Chuck Corty came back and ran a 2.09. Eric has also raced for TMRO, GUMBO, MRA, B&M Motorsports,Tallahachee County Dirt Drags, Lakeside Sand Drags, and Transfer PA to name a few covering 11 States. The Hutto’s say that they have met a lot of great people over the last couple of years and are looking forward to the 2009 season!

Eric & Tara would like to thank Mike Lane “Fastlane Racing”, Tim Wheelus, Gary O'steen "Gary’s Driveline", Fowler Racing Engines, Geradot’s Performance, Gary Baker “Power Pro”, and Eric would like a special “Thank You” to his wife/team mate/and partner Tara!
