Bruce started mud racing in 1986 and hasn't stopped since. He started with a 1971 Toyota land cruiser He called Ooze Toy and slowly worked his way up to the Pro Ranks with his current dirt drag ride called California Thunder. Some would say racing was in the blood his grandfather Edward Forstrom built and raced circle track cars for many years in New England. With his Father Wayne Wilson teaching him the machine shop business he now builds all of his own parts and chassis at his shop in gold hill, North Carolina.
Born in New Hampshire in 1963 and married in southern California in 1982 Bruce has 6 children and 2 grandchildren. He now lives in MT Pleasant, North Carolina and owns Fabricated logistics a custom machine and precision grinding service that builds rear end narrowing equipment.
