Mark (the SHARK) Lee sets the new WORLD RECORD for the WIN at MUDDI GRAS
Mark Lee"PURE ENERGY" & Keith Berry "OVERTIME"
Mark Lee and Keith Berry started the action as the first pair at the Mud Life Magazine All-Star Nationals, at MUDDI GRAS, in Kenansville, FL. Mark Lee, driving “PURE ENERGY”, led the first round of action with an ET of 2.203.Mark’s second pass ET was a 2.087, which set the new 200’ PRO-BADD NATIONAL ET Record and the 200’ WORLD Record and made Mark the 1st member of the 2.0 Club. The win and the new National Record helped Mark earn the title “King of BADD” for 2011.
Keith Berry drove his “OVERTIME” blown Chevy to an ET of 2.521. Keith had mechanical problems and had to scratch on his second pass.
In the second pair, Andy Garrett, driving his blown small block AMC “BAMBOOZLED”, ran a 2.409 on his first pass and a 2.236 on his second pass, to place him 5th overall, and securing the #2 spot in the PRO-BADD National Points Series.
Bob Dunham, in “ROLLIN’ THUNDER”, ran a 2.330 ET, which was quicker than his second pass of 2.370, and placed him 10th overall for the weekend.

Jeremy Terry "MIDNIGHT MISTRESS" & Mike Lane "ATTITUDE"
Jeremy Terry and Mike Lane were the third pair to the line.Jeremy ran a 4.123 in “MIDNIGHT MISTRESS” and scratched on his second pass.
Mike “Fastlane” Lane, driving his “ATTITUDE” car, secured his second PRO-BADD National Points Championship with an ET of 2.256, which was quicker than his second pass of a 2.348.Mike is the 2009 and 2010 PRO-BADD National Points Champion!
The fourth pair up was Scott Snarski, in ‘PAPERBOY EXPRESS’, in the left lane and Joey Kacal, driving ‘BOUNTY HUNTER”, in the right lane.Scott’s time was a 2.242 to Joey’s 2.481. In the second round, after switching lanes, Joey’s time was a 2.608, and Scott’s ET was a 2.270.Scott’s first pass was his quicker time and it placed him 6th overall for the event.
Kevin Stone drew a bye. His first pass in “The Grind” of 2.388 was his quickest and placed Kevin 4th in the PRO-BADD 2010 National Points Series.

The next pair was Mark Lee in “TIME BANDIT”, who ran out-of-bounds on his first pass, and Mark O’Steen, driving “Dad’s DIRTY BIRD”, a blown big block Ford, was also out-of-bounds.Mark “The Shark” Lee’s second pass was a 2.110, tying the old WORLD Record and placing him 2nd at this event.
Josh Donnell, in “SECOND HELPIN’”, ran with Shawn Barber of “BACK IN BLACK”.Josh’s first time was a 2.329, which he bested in the second round with a 2.161, placing him 3rd for this event and making him the 4th driver to enter the Elite 2.1 Club.
Shawn Barber’s first pass was his quickest of the event with an ET of 2.286, which placed him 9th overall and locked in the 6th position of the PRO-BADD 2010 National Points Series.
Next to the line was the PRO-BADD National Points Champion and the 2010 King of BADD Mike Lane, driving Rick Holmes’ “WILD CHERRY”, with a first pass ET of 2.234 and a second pass of a 2.174, placing him 4th overall.
Dodd McDowell was in the other lane, driving “CHAIN LIGHTNING”.Dodd’s first pass was a 2.751, which he bested in his second pass with an ET of 2.383, placing him 12th for the event.

Larry D'Antoni "POWER PRO 1" & Billy Fling "REALITY CHECK"
Larry D’Antoni, driving “POWER PRO 1”, a blown Hemi, and Billy Fling, driving “REALITY CHECK” were the next pair of competitors.Larry’s best pass was in the second round with an ET of 2.441, which placed him #8 in the PRO-BADD 2010 National Points Series.
Billy’s best time, a 2.383, also in the second round, placed him in 11th place for the event and gave him enough points to claim the #3 spot in the PRO-BADD National Points Series.

The final pair in the fast paced action was Darryl Jones, driving “SCOOBY DOO”, and Jason Linden, driving “NITRO GLYCERIN”.Darryl and Jason both drive blown full-sized trucks, running flat track, bogs, and Hill-n-Hole.
Darryl’s best pass was a 3.508 and Jason’s was a 3.054.
The MEN of BADD finished off the 2010 season at one of the premier off road racing venues in our sport and want to thank the Kelley family and staff for an exciting weekend, and are looking forward to the next visit to MUDDI GRAS for another PROBADD ALL-STAR Nationals!!!
